Sketches & Artwork: June

June was a fun month for creativity. Workshop week kept me creatively occupied and I was able to get back into the habit of sketching almost everyday. I usually sketch characters and outfits, but I branched out and practiced hands, flowers, and bugs. Here are some of the best from my sketchbook;

After workshop week, I got the supplies to make watercolor paints from old pastels. I intended to paint something from each of the new colors (except black and white and some of the browns) but only did four while redrawing some very old sketches;

I also got into the mind to make watercolor and embroidery bookmarks. I only made one of them, and it’s still not complete, but I’ll likely come back and finish the others at some point.

I’m new to this kind of sharing. I am not a content creator; I don’t know much about how to write, how to draw in viewers, or even the best ways to display artwork, and honestly, I don’t care. I am an artist, and I hope that by simply sharing my artwork others can be happy, too.
